Just think 17 years ago in 1999 the internet was still in its infancy and this site is still alive.

Goddamn, 1999. Just thinking about that year gives me goosebumps. The internet was such a smaller place. Geocities and yahoo groups, and so forth.

mrmaczaps 11-03-2016 08:04 PM

Theres a "main site"? hahaha

Congrats on 17 years Drome.

Fortunecity was the sh*t back in the day. 20 megs of space instead of Geocities' 5. That was a game changer.

'Bout time this happened

members.aol.com only gave you 2 MB per screenname. I had to make a secondary profile to have enough space. Then 2008 they ended the free FTP service. Man, those were some crazy times.

And LONG LIVE AND PROSPER!!

I visit this site since 2003, but how i don't speak english (correctly) i feelling whithout courage to join it. It was a big mistake because i left to meet many, many interesting peoples and trade ideas. My Fault . But it's past , and same speaking very wrong is a satisfaction for me to be in here.

At least an Internet forum that still lives, in a time of social media.
