Unreleased TMNT Merchandise 2012 - 2017
 

With Rise of the TMNT coming up I think it's now safe to say that any toys, merchandise or collectibles that were announced between 2012 and 2017 but have not been released yet have been cancelled for good.

Here's what I got so far, I'm pretty sure I missed something so any help is welcome, I will update this post with any new info.

Still sad over that katana a year after finding out it was canceled. (After having to ask them myself via Facebook if it was still happening. Grr. Nice customer service...)

No Vault Leo statue? That's a shame. Way out of my budget, but always thought that one looked better than the Prime 1 version.

A lot of the others I can shrug off, though I wouldn't have minded seeing the Undead Shredder, Creep, and the pets 3-pack happen.

I thought the prototype for Undead Shred looked better than the Super Shredder toy, my son wanted that before we knew they were not making it.. we got Crimson Tiger Claw form that arc.. (Shredder was gross though :0) ....I'd have bought the pet pack too... though I liked Chompie more than Spike :)

No pictures, but there was a sign at some toy convention which said we were getting a Mutant Wasp from Playmates long before we even knew of the episode Parasitica.

There was also a Kavaxas and the Apocalypse arc figures shown in that leak from Greg Cipes.

There was also a Playmates Jei shown in a video and a picture Zog on Walmart.

I'm still mourning the loss of Jei & the Usagi Halfshell Hero. There's so little UY merch out there, to be blue-balled like that really sucks. Also miffed we didn't get the Japanese vinyl baddies, they were so damn cool.

I can tell you, the Kawaii Cubes Bebop & Rocksteady did get released -- as an SDCC 2017 exclusive. I saw someone who bought them there post them on my Instagram feed and say that's where they got them. Quite a bummer, I've never even seen them show up on eBay ever since then.

You can find someone from Thailand selling them for $35 (!!!) per blind box...but I never saw them come out proper over here.

I remember that Greg Cipes posted a video and it was removed right away. Did anyone save the video or have pictures?

Seems a lot of the Half-Shell Heroes figures did not make it, does anyone have a complete list? I'll try and see what I can find.

Also added the Super Armor TMNT to the list.

I did not know the Bebop and Rocksteady Kawaii Cubes were SDCC exclusives, can't say I've seen any actual pictures of them. Thanks for the info.

I have also spotted the Cube-It toys on eBay for crazy prices, so I guess they were made. I doubt they were widely released so I'll add them to the list.

Can anyone confirm if these two Bebop and Rocksteady Micro Mutants vehicles were released?
I don't think so, but maybe I missed them.

I also don't believe all of these Surprise Mini Figures by Playmates were released, can anyone confirm this?

Shredder had a pizza pop up lair that never made it as well.

Don't forget the large DreamEx Krang that some other company was supposedly gonna pick up, and the First Gokin "Cerebral" #2, Krang in robotic chair suit...

Or are we still thinking these might happen?

I believe the 1/6 scale DreamEx (now HeroClub) Krang figure (or Cerebral) is still planned, as are the 1/6 scale OOTS Turtles by ThreeZero.

I do think it's safe to say that the Krang Walker by First Gokin is cancelled, so I'll add it to the list.

the 4 foot Raphael and Donatello from the Jakks Pacific line as well... I was really hoping to get all 4 brothers for my living room in all their gigantic glory, but alas...
If I get really ambitions maybe I could modify another Leo and Mikey, but it would be easy to tell with their distinctive head shapes.

Indeed, a shame Playmates did not release all four Turtles.
Were Raph and Donnie actually ever announced?

Not sure if they were ever actually announced but they were on the website under postponed production, or something like that, a while back before they up and vanished entirely. :tcry: Had a bad feeling they weren't gonna make it into production although it seemed to me Mikey and Leo sold decently.
