It went live last week but they're apparently adding games every 2 weeks and it COULD possibly come to PC and other platforms, which I hope it does because Im not downloading games I can easily play on an emulator.

I saw this the other day. I downloaded Sonic 1 because I've always been curious how regular games feel with a touch screen. It is very awkward. I died in the easiest spots of the first 2 levels.

I'm sure most traditional games are just as awkward. You have to re-teach yourself. I deleted it since I have the old game. I don't need it taking up space on my iPad.

I know I shouldn't but I'm amazed something like Dreamcast games can run on a tablet. Even Sega All Star Racing. Not for free just saying that's a previous gen game. I have the Wii U version. Don't know how well it plays on iOS.

You can buy a Bluetooth iPhone game controller and it works wonderfully. I even play it on my HDtv using Airtime (along with other great games for iPhone like the HD remakes of Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider).

But honestly, I read that the ads for Sega Forever are annoying. I'm not supporting this - I'll stick with full pay and fuss free iOS games, thank you very much.

Those ads are annoying though. So I guess we're better off just using an emulator if we can.

It's actually more than from the Genesis to Dreamcast, since SG-1000 and Master System are also being harvested. No idea why anyone would say otherwise outside of familiarity.
