TMNT Manga Chapter 3 is now in English!

Chapter 3: "The Strongest Weapon: The Devil's Monster".

As always, thanks go to Old Man Winters for providing the scans.

Enjoy.

You 'Da Man, Spengs!

I really appreciate your explanation of the "Devil's Monster", i.e. that wacky old man's head on top of what I assume is supposed to be the Technodrome. I just figured it was one of Dr. Robotnik's rejected machines.

Also, very nice job on Mikey's little "pun" at the end. You really seem to have a great command of the nuances of Japanese.

A little *too* Raph 07-29-2009 07:16 AM

Thanks again... this is awesome!

Yeah.. I was thinking either Eggman had something to do with it or Stromboli from Pinocchio (that's what the head looks like to me). What a weird name for the Technodrome.....I wonder how Splinter knew about it? Also noticed Splinter was wearing underwear! *lol*

Well, Splinter didn't know about the Devil's Monster, since right afterward he reveals he hadn't a clue what it was.

But a better question would be how he knew where to find the Turtles...

These are hilarious! The designs stand out too (one way or another). Great job translating it, DrSpengler:tthumbsu:

Also have a new sig because of it :D

Well, it's certainly nice to see at least four people on this message board are interested in this stuff. :)

Glad some of you look forward to this stuff, even if its just a small minority.

Don't forget the "silent majority!" This thread does have about 150 views afterall. It's too bad so many people will get all hot n'bothered about silly topics like the music used in the Turtles in Time remake[:P], and groundbreaking stuff like this goes under the radar.:ohwell:
