1st episode Mystic Mayhem, starts on Friday so I thought it might be best to start a new thread.

Also everyone please behave, don't want this becoming like a Platinum Dunes thread.

We should have separate episode review threads like we had for the Nick show each time a new ep airs. So this thread should be for the first ep airing only.

No this is a season 1 discussion thread, so everything will be discussed.

All episodes including Episode 1, will have Official Episode discussion thread, so it will be similar to what we did with the 2012 show.

are we going to do threads for each 11 minute episode, or a “double thread” for both episodes on the half hour block?

Probably best to do the two 11 min episodes for one thread. I expect some episodes will have 20 min episodes, that 1st episode looks like a 20 min episode.

1) Since April is once again portrayed as a teenager, think that she'll work at Channel 6 News for an after school job?

2) During the second half, I think there will be a possibility of missing posters of humans that have been mutated. Something which the 2k12 series didn't have.

3) This Hidden City could be this show's version of the Undercity.

4) I predict that the Shredder will make a cameo at the end of this season.

5) How do we know that this series won't be renewed for another season? Even if it does, it'll probably go by a different name. Like with Tangled: The Series, the last three seasons of TMNT 2003, the final season of TMNT 2k12, and Pokemon.

April is confirmed to work at a pizza shop.

It probably will be, why wouldn't it? It's aimed at a whole new gen of kids who weren't even born when the Nick show started in 2012.

Hmm... I dunno. 2012 ran for five (and some) years... Pretty sure kids who are now 10 are still within the demographic and were old enough to enjoy all of 2012 if they like TMNT.



I could see April moving on to a mail room job or something like that at Channel 6 later. Since the pizza place job might get, er, stale after a while.

What? how is Nickelodeon Kids Choice still a thing? It was a blatant copy of the MTV Awards and now not even MTVs awards are relevant anymore.

A Teen April should take advantage of her being a flippin' teen. 2012 screwed it up and I hope this show doesn't give her a job she's a teenager. They need to take advantage of the High School setting. You can hint her future professions by either having her be interested in Science, (Professor Stockman?) or work in the school news paper as a reporter.

I totally agree. The few scenes of April, Casey and Irma in their High School setting were fantastic. But they were few and far between. I think this show will take advantage of it. And lol bandicam.

Stockman is not a professor he is mad scientist working for me most of the tiem. It is just IDW and Mirrage Stockman that dont work for me. Why would he go to work on a school? He will be working for me like he always does and this time first i will cut his body as punishment piece by piece like i did in 2003 stockman. Then put his brain to jar. Then i will throw mutagen with fly dna on his jar and he will be mutated to a brain fly a hideous creature!

Because as a schoolteacher, he wouldn't risk ending up mutilated. :)

Seing the Nickelodeon blimp, why don't they make a Turtle blimp based on it instead?

It sounds like that the first episode is going to be a two-parter.

That's what we're used to now.

Since so much of the clips keep showing that Chuck-E-Cheese pizza place, I guess the Turtles meet April working there in the first episode, and it picks up from there.
