Dangermouse Returning

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/...d-success.html On one hand, CITV getting some new programming that isnt reruns and imports is a nice one. On the other hand, this is probably not going to involve David Jason, and he obviously won't be saddled with old Terry if he were |
Cute British show that was seen on Nick & free-tv.
Thames Colour Productions best show, next to Benny Hill. |
Never watched it when i wer a nipper, bit young i think lol.
Still a legendary show back in it's time, and still remembered and loved to this day :) Would be awsome if david jason was to do the voice again :) |
Saturday Morning might have a chance afterall. I was thinking it was something we would have to tell posterity about.
A bit off topic, but Zarius,I looked again for info on Hey Arnold!'s revivial/completion and failed to find a single article. Is it official Craig Barlett is on board or is it just hopeful speculation? |

Dangermouse worked back then. I don't have high hopes for a modern rehash, with or without David Jason.
Cosgrove Hall stuff should be left in peace :) |
I-Patch? Oh dear

WTF is with all these classic shows returning? I hardly remember watching this series but yah, pick the most random series to have return. How popular was this series exactly for it to return?
Why not bring back Kids Next Door while we are at it? Or make another film to give in an official ending, I always did feel that show had an awful ending, or end the series with a better ending. In my opinion I felt they did the ending all wrong, Number 1 got the biggest middle finger for the leader and most powerful figure of Kids Next Door. I mean, what's the guy supposed to do now that he's back on earth? All his friends grown up, agent 632 who I felt was perfect for him moved on herself. All of his friends don't remember a thing about past adventures with him, sucks to be him. |
Fans tend to write stories where Rachel got promoted to the GKND eventually and spent her whole childhood and teen years with Nigel. Not canon of course, but it's a nice thought to have
Dangermouse is a British institution, it was insanely popular and ran for several years, as mentioned above, it also aired on Nick in the States way back when the channel was in it's infancy. Most Stateside fans fondly remember Count Duckula more, who got his start in Dangermouse as an antagonist. |
Love Danger Mouse, not sure what to think of a reboot. Can't imagine it without David Jason.

Awesome! I have the Complete Danger Mouse series and Count Duckula series on dvd. Looking forward to some new eps. I just hope they don't mess it up.
|
I actually think this might work after seeing that poster. Ihave to get complete box set of the original series and count Duckula:o
|
Danger Mouse was one of my favorite shows when I was little. Like you, Blue Turtle, I can't imagine it without David Jason, but I'm happy to see it hasn't been forgotten!
|
Well it seems Steven Fry might be up for the role, I could see that working, he would fit.

Some characters will return as females...
http://www.theguardian.com/technolog...rs-male-female A female Stiletto might make sense... Maybe a Baroness Greenback... |

LOL at a new Teletubbies series. |
I dread the potential 'shipping of DM and a female Penfold...
...I'd be ok with 'shipping DM and Stilleto though:lol: |
