Shooting at Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis, Maryland

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said he was "absolutely devastated to learn of this tragedy in Annapolis."
Anne Arundel police said they are responding to an active shooter at an Annapolis building. Police have evacuated the building where the shooting occurred, authorities said.

The ATF and FBI said they are also responding to a shooting at that location.
The Capital Gazette is owned by The Baltimore Sun.

We've had fake news literally as long as we've had news, period. Why are people coming out of the woodwork with violent acts against what they perceive to be it? Just because the president decided he wanted to pretend to stand against it?

Also new, an administration that consistently seeks to undermine the First Amendment.

I mean, someone who suddenly snaps one day without any political motivations would probably just shoot someone close to them like a relative or shoot up their next door café other than going to a place like a newsroom, I'm guessing? Shooting up a place like that will definitely get you media attention more easily.
