Will they retcon Serenity or they just take place before Serenity?

Firefly is one of my fav. shows but man did I hate everything about Serenity. Didn't they do some prequel comics for Serenity? How are those?

A damn shame this show was cancelled and while I guess a comic is the next best thing, man was that cast wasted with only one season and Serenity killed any interest in the characters.

I found the prequel comics to be entertaining, but I agree with you on the Serenity front. It was like watching someone's edgy-fanfic get a big budget film.

Whedon isn't without his faults, but...I'm optimistic that he's not entirely unsalvageable, either as a person or a storyteller.
