Court rules that all the parents can (try to) sue the gun manufacturer:

Absurd.

You said that people sue all the time. Remember? You said it when I pointed out that Trump threatened to sue his schools if they ever released any of his grades.

If the court says they legally are able to try, they're more than welcome to try. I just find it absurd.

It'd be like going after the automobile manufacturer in one of these mass-vehicular murders where the guy drives through crowds mowing people over.

Yeah, exactly.

You mean when that deranged Trump supporter killed all those people? I remember that.

And I don't find this absurd at all. If someone killed my child, I'd be hell bent on hurting every single person involved.

This might shock you, too: cars have a purpose other than killing people.

I know, I couldn't believe it either. But it turns out that while cars can be used to "cuck libs" or whatever the fascists say these days, you can actually use them to travel to places WITHOUT MURDERING ANYONE! :o

Guns, on the other hand, have yet to find a purpose outside of killing things.

So I guess if you open a business that sells stuff designed SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF KILLING PEOPLE, and someone uses your product to MURDER CHILDREN, then you may have to bear some of the responsibility of that.

But Voltron! The manufacturer didn't make the guy kill anyone!
Again. If my child was murdered, I would be hellbent on hurting everyone involved. Everyone.

Screw your precious money.

I don't think legally any place can release his grades anyhow, so his threat to sue was a moot point, posturing only. Doesn't stop anyone at the place stealing them and leaking, there was an image doing the rounds last week purportedly from one place of his terrible GPA. Wouldn't surprise me if it was actually true.

Voltron 03-15-2019 04:26 AM

Well that and Trump issued the threat at the same time Trump was challenging Obama to release HIS transcripts.

Because of course Trumplethinskin did.

Either way, while I feel that this law suit doesn't have much to stand on, I understand that the parents don't owe any explanation after the outrage they've suffered.

So the people in the executive offices of Remington or on the assembly line were involved in the killing of your child? If this was the same scenario.

That's funny, so do rifles.

Again, how was anyone in the offices of Remington or on the assembly line involved? Remotely?

Voltron 03-16-2019 05:29 AM

I'm not going to hold your hand through this, Andy. Figure it out yourself.

Also, stop digging up threads from half a decade ago to push your bullsh*t agenda.
