Tomorrow, The Embargo for the TMNT Movie review will be lifted, and I know Collider will have a review since ColliderFrosty seen it.

Interesting thing about last night was when you guys we're laughing at what I saying not realizing I was talking about your beloved original

Yeah, some of you don't realize that i was talking about the 1990 TNMT movie. It's bad, really bad. #TNMTMovie

Seems like a credible source....

How did a thread for " reviews " turn into a " Bob hates TMNT " thread? lol
That's interesting

Have any official reviews popped up yet? I want to read all of them.

Bry 08-03-2014 09:05 AM

I think I'm looking forward to the reactions to the reviews more than I am the reviews themselves.

Looking to rent a few opinions, I take it?

Nah, I'm curious myself. I just like knowing what people think, I almost never agree with them.

AquaParade 08-03-2014 01:41 PM

The stigma that reading reviews means you can't think for yourself is sort of narrow minded. I love reading reviews before or after experiencing entertainment. Comparing thoughts and trying to adapt to new perspectives can be enjoyable.

Leo656 08-03-2014 02:09 PM

Oh definitely. But CC kinda has a thing for co-opting opinions on things he has no intention of ever seeing for himself, so I like to poke him a little, that's all. ;)

I love reviews as entertainment, totally. Sometimes they make me realize things I hadn't realized before, so they can definitely expand your perspective on the whole experience. To a lot of people, though, anything less than four stars is a recommendation to skip, and I hate that. I read a ton of stuff but nothing ever made me change my mind about whether I liked something or not. It's all just entertainment, to me.

Bmaga123 08-03-2014 02:09 PM

3 pages in and only 2 reviews :-(

Warhorse 08-03-2014 02:21 PM

I thought the embargo was to lift today.:-?

TigerClaw 08-03-2014 02:24 PM

They just released a Critics TV Spot, Though only showing one Critic praising the movie with the quote. "a Fantastic Time at the Movies" And its from a Joel D Amos from Movie Fanatics. But I dont see a review from it anywhere, It'll probably get posted later or something.

Stopped about after 1 min in, everyone is entitled to their opinion but not everyone should be a film critic.

Only one I am waiting for would be JeremyJahns. He usually gives some decent reviews. Usually. And when he really likes a movie, he really gives it this impression that it is the most awesome thing out there, when really it isn't. But, I still like his hyper attitude vs the doom and gloom from most critics.
