Roller skates that will never fit me, but I saved from a rummage sale...with the box.

Dear god, I want those like my life depends on it! :teek:

I wish I could collect more...All I have for TMNT is a few VHS tapes and the novel for the movie.

I stopped by a comic shop yesterday, and the owner had out several boxes of late-80's/early 90's TMNT birthday card boxes, unopened. The art was old, familiar Lavinge/Brown stuff that looked like it had been redrawn by others. The sets appeared to have been printed in Canada; they'd been sitting in his back room (along with cases of unopened 1990 movie cards) for the last 2 decades. I didn't buy, but thinking about going back to snatch some up. Anyone familiar with the birthday cards? Can't find any online.

I have an original birthday card art I bought from Murphy a couple of years ago. The artist was Steve Lavigne.

A bit more online search yielded some other early birthday cards featuring 80's characters like Ace Duck and Tragg, but I've found nothing on this particular set. Box is blue, with the 4 turtles on the front. 12 cards per box, with art on each card that appears to be watercolor and colored pencil. Characters were limited to the real OGs like April, Splinter, and Bebop & Rocksteady. Probably nothing special, there were countless cards in the heyday anyway.

TMNT cup, given away free when I went to see the original live-action movie back in 1990:

Awsome cup. I always dug art of Jim Hensons turtles.

I should also mention that the cup glows in the dark, even 20 years later. I don't think I've ever got so much use out of any kitchen-related item as I have this cup...

Just got this from a yard sale. God awful show, but I'm still excited over the find. I love my little VHS, Power Ranger sticker and all. Plus, I also found a Disney's Mr.Toad tape at the same sale.

Haha, despite being a pretty bad show I think that's just a pretty cool find. Power Ranger sticker makes it even better!

I SOO wanna get a water bottle

Powder 08-28-2010 06:19 PM

That shirt has actually been up there for a few months now. Its deffinately cool, though. I plan on nabbing the water bottle one of these days myself. I'm just waiting for the oppurtunity to hit the actual store rather then paying their wack online shipping charges.

Alot of the time you can find these shirts on ebay. You'd have alot better of a chance finding those who ship internationally on there. A few other good sites are stylinonline.com & 80stees.com because they have most of the same shirts (sometimes better ones) though I haven't a clue as to whether or not these places ship out there either.

Luzmagica 09-02-2010 12:09 PM

^ I had get some T-shirts in 80stees.com, a time ago, without any problem with international shipment!!! The shirts arrive in mint condition and fast overseas!

Thanks for the tip: I'll start looking there. :)

Hey.....so I went thrift shopping today and ran across a TMNT book bag? What's so special about that you ask? Well, it's a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles bag but it has Michaelangelo on the front but has "Leonardo" written under him. It says the bag is made by "Sanaco". I bought it and I'll post pics later. Any other info on this bag?

There are three TMNT Mini Mutant SWAT sets on e-bay right now:

http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

These are the two-packs that "supposedly" never came out, up until now Michelangelo vs. The Rat King was the only one that had been verified as having been released.

I found the TMNT Collected Book 1 for $10 at a local used book store, no foolin'...
