Out in October, and yet no media released yet? Somehow, that scares me.
|
I have a bad feeling about this...
|
It won't be that bad, right guys?
Right? RIGHT? |

Remember the last Activision TMNT game that was released in October and didn't have much press?
I have a really bad feeling about this...plus, this soon? I'm still waiting for the last one to hit $10 for 3DS. |

It's retail, so I'm assuming it's not a follow-up to Out of the Shadows. A second cartoon-based game? Something else? I dunno... guess Activision somehow got a license extension. I hope it's not Magic Pockets again, though D:

A third 3DS turtles game?! Sweet.
Considering what consoles it's for, my guess is a second Nickelodeon game. It's not at all uncommon for kids cartoons to get multiple games. EDIT________ Maybe it's based on the mutagen fallout arc (season?), and it'll have tons of mutants. |

STILL no Wii U version? :(

Let's not forget the Mobile game that also came out recently, Which was also based on the movie.
I'm willing to bet that this new game will be based on the new Movie and using the new TMNT designs. Even though the Mobile and 3DS game uses the Movie designs, the stories in them has nothing to do with the movie itself. But if its not and based on the Nick series, Then I can see why its called Danger of the Ooze. It'll be the Turtles fighting a series of Mutants scattered all over NYC, after those canisters were accidentally scattered all over the place. |
I remember the days when I used to look forward to new TMNT games, now I dread them. :tsad:

By using PS3, 360 and 3DS, they can reach tons of people while really only making two versions of the game. PS4 and XBox One would cost more money. Wii has hardware limitations and Wii U is just weird. 3DS has limitations, too, compared to PS3 and 360, but at least it's current and infinity people own them.
That's all why I figure it's Nickelodeon-based game. |

I know I'm gonna buy it and play it, regardless, because I'm a sucker for TMNT and beat 'em ups. But I would rather it be a new thing, like the movie game was, than to be a sequel to the Nick game. But the title fits the last season pretty well...

So tired of this 'Konami will save us all' bullcrap. Get out of the past for a minute or two. |
I'd like to see Wayforward do a TMNT 3DS game, personally.
|
i still wish that rocksteady game wasnt just a bunch of rumors.
|
I was under the impression that Activision's license only lasted three games.
|
I don't know if this iOS game counted as one of the 3

Another Activision game, and potentially based on the new movie?
Hold on, I need to find just the right GIF for this one... http://media.giphy.com/media/bga3u0pGRstl6/giphy.gif Yeah, that'll do. |
Danger of the ooze- Rahzar and Tokka! Maybe its Secret of the ooze
|
Upcoming "danger of ooze" will be peace of junk like "out of the shadows" I think.
P.S. The only hope for good and enjoyable tmnt-game is on fan-projects. So if you want to play it - support fan devs who on your opinion deserve it!:twink: |
I think they need a TMNT game on PS4 and Wii U.

Wayforward would probably be the current developer most likely to make a good TMNT game, I agree. |
Danger of the Ooze? Sounds like a season two game tie-in.
Nice to see a TMNT game for PS3 though. I'll probably pick it up for that instead of 3DS like last year's game. Oh how I wish Activision would let WayForward develop a TMNT game. |
I've got my fingers crossed but since it comes out in a month and there's no realinfoim notexpecting much. Hope its decent and not only directed at kids.

Mmm...
Looks to be yet another trashy, run-of-the-mill children's licensed game,no different from the likes of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures or what have you. A crying shame, the TMNT games could have truly not only copied their ancestors, but improved upon them as well, but instead they choose to go down this route... My vision of a TMNT game for the new millennium is a game that takes the classics and improves upon them, instead of merely aping them. * The playable character roster would be expanded beyond just the Turtles. Each character would have unique movesets and statistics. For example, April O' Neil would rely on her psychokinetic abilities to fight, lifting and throwing enemies aside as well as breaking their brains with psychic forces. Metalhead would be the walking arsenal, using his array of cannons and tools to fend off his enemies. Leatherhead would be the slow-yet-strong bruiser of the group, able to access a crocodilian rage to overcome the enemy. Karai? She'd totally have a stance system allowing her to change between woman and serpent. Slash could just curl up and roll through the opposition, or smash them with a club. Casey Jones would pull out all his sporting goods to take on the enemies. Splinter could have the abilities of all four Turtles but overall be much weaker. * Levels will be multi-layered and contain several alternate paths, potentially allowing players to go through the level much faster than they normally would. Perhaps the game would even have branching storyline paths, allowing the player to choose which levels to go to? * A variety of enemies, rather than just types of Foot and Mouser. |
WayForward did do a TMNT game at one point and it was pretty neat! Or at least I liked it....

Not movie based, I am intrigued.

It looks like WayFoward is developing the game. Where on Earth did Microsoft get this information about the game:
