Half-Shell Heroes: Blast to the Past sequel

Does anyone know if a sequel will be produced? I think the ending is too interesting for ending up an untold story.

Merry Mutants should be coming out any day now :trazz:

I think you're behind on news.

I hate this place sometimes.

I think you can't take a joke.

I'm honestly surprised we didn't get another one. My only guess is the DVD of it bombed in sales or something.

There's not gonna be another Half Shell Heroes? That's too bad. I really liked the first one. I found it to be a more entertaining production than the regular series.

As said, it has a cliffhanger ending. That makes it so much worse that we have no ending.

I guess this might be a good time to bring this up, when did the first one even take place?

It can't have been before the end of season 3, the Turtles and Triceratons didn't know about each other before that point. It can't take place during the first half of season 4 because the Turtles were in space. It can't take place in the second half of season 4 because Shredder is in no way implied to be hospitalised or a monster.

Maybe between "Dinosaur Seen in Sewers!" and "Annihilation: Earth!, part 1"?

Half-Shelled Heroes is more like a spinoff universe of the Nick Show, so other than having similar designs and characters it doesn't really have any connection to the Nick Show itself.

^Yup. It's not canon.

CyberCubed 02-11-2017 01:26 PM

I consider it to be canon. Aside from the designs, it was just like a regular episode.

It's about as much canon to the main Nick series as the 2007 Warner Bros. CGI movie is to the original New Line Cinema live action films. In the end, we're all left to decide how it all fits together.

I just don't see where it fits in.

I personally watch it between Earth's Last Stand and City at War, but it's rife with contradictions. The Foot was inactive between those episodes and Shredder was on his death bed. He wouldn't have been sending his goons on a search for some generic power source, since all they were after was Mutagen to feed him after his crippling.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not canon. Just a fun movie aimed at younger viewers to encourage them to buy toys. If it was canon, it wouldn't it be more obvious where it fits in?

I did like Zera, though. Woulda been cool to see her in the Space Arc.

Maybe the 2018 series will begin where this ends?

Geez, I hope not. That would be all kinds of lame.

Too late for sequel?

Is it too late to hope for a sequel now?
