How about this one? No CGI needed.

That reminds me-- a few years ago, I had a nugget of an idea to do a micro-budget, tongue in cheek Troma-esque adaptation of one of the unproduced TMNT 4 scripts. I was wanting to go after a few name porn stars in the skimpy TMNT Halloween costumes, Ron Jeremy as Splinter, and a few other D-list celebs. I have a decent in with Ron, who is a big acting nerd. It would've been fun, but the thought of investing personal finances and dealing with corporate copyright crap was a huge knock against the idea.

Maybe the Ghostbusters can get away with that since it's originally a film, not a comic like TMNT.

Allio 11-04-2016 11:23 AM

boy, if you thought making shredder white caused an uproar

IndigoErth 11-04-2016 02:38 PM

Accurate, I suppose. If people think PD TMNT leaned too human and more-so than other versions, female counterparts would undoubtedly be even more human-like than the guys, given the nature of how non-human humanoid female characters often tend to be designed in entertainment.

I don't want her in there, but it would be interesting to at least see concept art of what the PD folks would do with Venus were she included. If they resisted trying to give her sex appeal I'd be shocked.

Not a fan of this idea, but I like the image in the first post. Made me chuckle.

I threw up a little. Why would you start a thread like this? Haha

Ninjinister 11-10-2016 09:37 PM

I think I'd be more apt to see it than the Ghostbusters one. I didn't see that one because I honestly have no interest in Ghostbusters these days. The TMNT crossover was about as much as I was willing to give the series.

It's already been established in the canon that each turtle incarnation is it's own universe existing in a huge multiverse, so honestly why not? It could be interesting.

New female turtle characters appearing in a movie, done right, could be cool. The four brothers becoming four sisters. I won't be going to that one.

ticktack 11-28-2016 02:57 AM

Again, the female turtles movie won't be bad, it will move forward the perception and usability of females being starred. That'd be Great! !
((I want a game dedicated around POP T2T Fara's character without fanservice clothing, and her accidentally being used for a plot of kidnapping, let me dream.))

But let us be careful, I don't want it to be made crappily just only because on fan demands that they want a female tmnt, and be designed disrespectfully, avoid ms male characterness (the bow, eyelashes, pink, tiddies, high heels, make ups, long-long hair of the male character) and smurfette principle (the males are normal, while a female is a variety)

sorry if somewhere around my text I'm wording incorrectly.

With Laird, I guess, there would have always been the risk of those female tmnt's never mentioned again.

But that won't happen in my opinion.

What the actual crap! With all due respect.

plastroncafe 11-28-2016 11:09 AM

Nah dude, male and female turtles only have the one opening.

Andrew NDB 11-28-2016 12:01 PM

What if there was a new story where it turns out the Turtles just assumed they were all biologically male... but upon closer inspection they learn they've been female this whole time?

That actually happens with real life turtles all the damn time. I learned the true genders of my turtles the hard way. :teek: Turtle reproductive organs are freaky.

I'm not sure about the concept but I'd give it a go and as you said, it would just be another universe. The other versions are still out there so if people don't like it, they could just stick with them and ignore this one.
