Muckman & Wyrm Sculpts
I am a novice sculptor at best, but I wanted to take a crack at an SD styled mutant, so I went with some favorites who also happens to be fairly simple designs. It's just Sculpey over shaped tin foil, with some acrylic paint. Stand about 2½ inches tall.
http://i.imgur.com/3UNnjxp.png http://i.imgur.com/cVEkgik.png I may yet add a tongue & banana peel hat to Muckman, perhaps even a garbage bin with Joe Eyeball, if I'm ambitious, but this is all I've got for now. :trazz: |
I like it a lot! Been a long time since I used any Sculpey... hope to see the banana peel hat and Joe Eyeball! :tgrin:

Nice work, Powder!

That's some great craftsmanship dude! :)

Love it. Sort of looks like one of the TMNT Kidrobot minis.
Add the banana peel! |

I'd place it in my collection any day Btw .. the poster u sold me is hanging up Thanks again |
South Park Muckman. Awesome.
Pretty good for a first attempt. |
Wyrm rocks. I would legit buy that sculpt. Loving the pop-out eyes!
|
Chicken Run Universe Wyrm. Nice.
|
The paint on those is awesome!
|
That Wyrm looks like he stepped right off a Matt Groening cartoon model sheet!
|
These look like they were so fun to make....

These look pretty cool. I could see more of these in the future. Scratch, Leatherhead, Universal Monster turtles, 80's Baxter stockman, Ratking, Scumbug, Wingnut, Antrax, Hothead, Scale tail to name a few. Maybe even some of the other variations on the turtles.

Giving this old thread a bump. Still proud of these, but thinking I could do better. Been ages since I sculpted something, have a little bit of an itch lately. Maybe I'll redo these?
Any thoughts for other (vintage Playmates styled) characters I should try? |
Hothead or Groundchuck would be cool
