Looks like a new series based on the new cartoon will be coming out. The comic is coming out for Free Comic Book Day. I assume this means a series will follow?

Comic or tv show???

Love how they added the word "Adventures" to this title... :P Feels like an homage to the Archie series loosely based on the series that came before it.

CyberCubed 12-06-2012 04:38 PM

I hope to god this keeps continuity with the show. I couldn't tolerate another new universe so soon.

ToTheNines 12-06-2012 04:40 PM

Man, this made my day. Can't get over how brilliant they were by choosing good old DB for this.

What makes you say that? It has the IDW logo on the cover if you click the link of the original post.

"Let me rephrase that...YOU'RE AN IDIOT!"
Thanks for the set up, Grimlock. It needed to be said. :D

Redrumh2o 12-06-2012 05:17 PM

WOW..I love that art!

funatic 12-06-2012 05:28 PM

makes me even more psyched about my print of this cover art I got from Dario at NYCC! <-- shameless bragging

While i love his work, I never thought it suited the grittier mirage storytelling, but with the cartoon slant it makes perfect sense! Excited to have 2 simultaneous ongoing series again! (My wallet, on the other hand, is less thrilled about it.)

Waitwhat...?

ToTheNines 12-06-2012 06:04 PM

Issue #25 is it. So we only get one Invasion arc.

LeoNerdo 12-06-2012 06:19 PM

Nice! I wonder who they'll have writing it.

Totally agree with you. He's much better suited for this sort of thing. I love it.
