Huh... interesting. Looks like you're right.

That must be why Mark Verheiden was brought on.

Well sh*t, I would have liked to have seen Young Ash meeting Old Ash.

also it involved ash having sex with woman in the 80's that turned out to be Kelly's mom which made Kelly ash's daughter

Andrew NDB 12-29-2016 04:16 PM

Yeah. I guess that would have been fun.

One thing I'd actually like to see is a bit more seriousness. I don't mean every episode, but definitely tucked in there. I know it's Evil Dead and it's not taking itself seriously... but occasionally, I dunno... something? Ash just watched his father die -- brutally -- in front of him, and was literally left scooping up his brains at the end of an episode... next episode, it's like nothing. I'm not saying we need 2-3 episodes of mourning, but... something. Because after a while I find it just making me numb.

I agree they should have had ash Burying his dad or something like that

Seems to me like the original ending would've been so much better. I was really disappointed with this one. Fantastic season overall, though!

Andrew NDB 12-29-2016 05:15 PM

To be fair, I was just as disappointed in the season finale of the first season. But the ride there was supremely entertaining both seasons.

Season 3 is filming right now. It usually airs in October I believe

Powder 06-12-2017 07:40 PM

Oh, rad! Thanks for letting me know. I had no idea it was in production. Guess I should've done a little Googling. :trazz: I wonder what kinda crazy stuff we can look forward to. S2 was fabulous.

Autbot_Benz 06-12-2017 07:45 PM

I hope they do more stuff that nods to Army of Darkness. Since thefirst 2 seasons had Evil Dead 2 stuff.

All Right you Primitive Screwheads Listen up. There might be a chance Ash Season 3 might not happen until 2018

Specifically, when the hell is it premiering?

Given that Starz hasn’t yet announced the premiere date for Season 3 of “Ash vs. Evil Dead,“ rumors have been swirling around the horror community that it won’t kick off in the Fall like the previous two seasons did. Some fans are even worried about what that means for the future of the series, if it indeed has been bumped.

So what’s the deal here? Well, Bruce Campbell just took part in a brief interview with Red Carpet Crash, and he addressed the elephant in the room… as best he could.

“When you hear the date, let me know,” Campbell joked. “Starz has said a couple different things, about possibly shifting the premiere date to try and get a cleaner slot within the year. So we don’t know. It’ll either be Fall or first quarter 2018… is my guess.”

From what we gather, the shift to 2018 is likely, and we can only speculate (based on Campbell’s comments) that it may have something to do with Starz wanting to separate “Ash vs. Evil Dead” from “Stranger Things” and “The Walking Dead” a bit. After all, they’ll be dominating the Fall season, which is normally when “Ash vs. Evil Dead” is airing.

During the same interview, Campbell promised that Season 3 is going to be a game-changer.

“We blew the doors off with episodes 9 and 10 this season,” Campbell noted. “At the end of Season 3, hopefully you will have to pick your jaw up off the floor when you see what we’ve done. It’s pretty big. Nothing will ever be the same by the end of this season.”

Filming on “Ash vs. Evil Dead” Season 3 wrapped this past June.

If we gotta wait, we gotta wait. I can hold out. Looking forward to this!

Andrew NDB 08-05-2017 02:03 AM

What? That long? That is crazy. Are they going to be filming season 4 sometime before that? These are 30 minute bite size things... they are not competing with Walking Dead or anything else.

Autbot_Benz 08-05-2017 10:33 AM

There still might be a chance it could happen in the fall who knows

Also looks like Ash has a Daughter in season 3

Apparently there was a huge push to make Kelly his daughter last season... maybe that becomes a thing in 3.

Autbot_Benz 10-05-2017 11:05 AM

Season 3 won't air until Sunday, February 25, 2018

“The third season finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead!”

The upcoming season also finds Ash discovering his long lost daughter, Brandy Barr, played by newcomer Arielle Carver-O’Neill!
