My version of April isn't quite that interesting. :D

I've been trying to think of what the daily trials and joys of having teenage ninjas for friends would be. I was thinking that privacy would be an issue because they could creep up on you and you would never know it. It made me paranoid thinking about it.

Just started a new story "The Tormentor" at fanfic. I'm getting sick of seeing our world class ninjas getting kidnapped and tortured while the others sit at home on their thumbs crying around. So they're doing to kidnapping and torture for once. I've had to plot it to death, which is a first for me. Lots of information hiding on my part so I'll see if it works out.

Oh, and I'm making up my own bad guy as I go along. Because I can.

Gosh, I'm so blind (or excited either one, heh) that I didn't see this thread that was at the top of the forum :roll:

Nah, it doesn't to my knowledge. Buuut, if I may... Pizzas and Scrolls does. Though, you may have to advertise your fic in other places to get readers. P&S has very few active posters these days. But the owner of the site is great. Very laid back.

Splintered Memories

Summary: The Episode that SHOULD have been... If you watched Back to the Sewers, you were probably not happy with the rushed feeling of the reunion of Splinter and the boys after he was blown to bits in the cyberworld. This story is before Wedding Bells and Bytes, and gives them all a proper reunion. :)

Having just listened to April's Diary and having just browsed several of the fan fics....I'd love to read some of these aloud. I might just start with Splintered Memories, if you're ok with it Machi. Not sure when I'll have time, though. :P

This might be a bit OT for this thread, but I'm just curious if anyone else around here hasn't been getting fic-updates to their fave fics over at FF.net. I haven't gotten one since June 25th, and I'm not sure what's going on with things, where that's concerned, and I didn't know where to ask.

And the fact that I've missed SEVERAL updates to my very FAVORITE TMNT fics HASN'T helped my temper any.

Anyway, if this doesn't go here, Machi, feel free to either move it to where it does, or just delete it. Either one is fine, but I was just wondering if anyone besides ME was having this problem.

I haven't had too much trouble, WW, but FF went through some massive updates a month or so ago. You could try deleting and then re-adding the authors and stories again? Contact FF, too.

Since I last updated this thread, I've written quite a few drabbles, one shots, and updated my longer stories "I Remember You" and "Wonder in Leoland".

The latest ones are "Debilitated" (Splinter and Don), "The Lion Won't Sleep Tonight" (Raph and Leo), and updates to "Wonder in Leoland".

I kinda found out about the site-upgrade thing a bit ago, Mindy, but, rather than got through all the rigamarole of deleting and re-faving everything (which would take me forevert and a day, AND lose me some of the ones that CAN'T be re-added due to them no longer BEING on the site due to deletions by the authors), I just did what you suggested in your PM to me, AND took the added step of deleting, then RE-adding FF.net's e-mail alerty addy to my "Safe Senders" List of my Main Hotmail account. So THOSE SHOULD fix matters, hopefully.

If not, I'll just squawk to the staff over at FF.net, which you ALSO suggested. But I'll wait to do THAT til I see how redoing my settings over there goes.
