Hey everybody! I made this topic to discuss Dragon Ball Super. It is a series that takes place during DragonBall Z. Right after the Majin Buu saga. You can watch it right now on www.crunchyroll.com

Hmmmmmm...

The first part of the Super (Battle of Gods and Resurrection F) are really boring and pointless for the most part if you have already seen the two movies, the only real noticeable thing is that Captain Ginyu returns.

Universe 6 vs 7 was pretty fun, for a tournament based arc.

Black Goku arc was fun, but the padding out seemed to really kill it as it took too long to get to this point.

Super seems like a fun show, but no continuation of DBZ will ever be able to match the original. That said, it should still be given a chance, and be judged by how good it is by itself, not compared to the original. 'cause like I said; it doesn't compare in the same sense.
Me, I'll wait 'till it's dubbed.

I do have to give DBS props though. Them putting Jaco the Galactic Patrolman was cool, he's one of Toriyama's recent characters that I really like.

As many posts of yours I've read, I didn't figure you'd be one to do that.
Goku Black has become one of my favorite characters now though.

I'm digging this show! But as someone mentioned, I can't wait til it's dubbed

No comments on the return of Vegetto?

I actually didn't want fusion to come back. Or it could have been cool to finally make Gogeta canon. Vegito is cool though. Looks like he may actually get the job done this time.

Yeah, me too. I just hope that fusion isn't really undermined by SSJB, SSJR, and the like.

haven't seen that part yet. just kind of watching it reverse lol. currently on the Goku Black arc then i'll watch the earlier eps as they're uploaded on Funimation/Crunchyroll

What? I enjoyed Black, I'm just saying that there was times where the arc could have cut out some episodes (like where Trunks/Vegeta/Goku comes back to the present)

You never Know. DBZ passed its predecessor "Dragon Ball" So its hard to say.
But if they keep turning out arcs like this Black Goku arc then who knows

Cant wait till Saturday's ep. The return of Super Vegito will be epic!!!!! Monster Zamasu looks really awesome. But I wonder if fused Zamasu is immortal sense Black Goku is not immortal.

One can only hope!:)

Also, Canadian, Vegito appears for the first time in Super this weekend.
