I last played it like 8 years ago so it has been a while, granted I was already an adult and at least 20 when I replayed it last.

I really wanted to like Sonic Unleashed because of its beautiful presentation, charming Pixar-like hub world, and its then incredibly mind blowing daytime stages. Buuut... it has some very undeniable issues that just ruin the whole experience. A lot of the daytime stages feel poorly designed with tons of cheap deaths just waiting to happen. Only a handful of them were fun from beginning to end. The werehog stages, while not a bad concept, ruin the pace of the game and can be quite repetitive and tedious. Honestly, they were better off fleshing out the werehog portions and turning it into a new IP. It just doesn't belong in a Sonic game.

As for Shadow the Hedgehog, I haven't played it in so long. After having recently gone back to many Sonic games in the past year for unfinished business, I've had the urge to play Shadow the Hedgehog again. I don't remember it being anything special. It seemed pretty typical of the series at the time. It starts out pretty solid and gets progressively worse. The vehicles and weapons were a pretty stupid idea but they didn't ruin the game for me. Hopefully, after a revisit, my opinion will change for the better like it did with Generations.

I enjoyed Colors. It fixed the problems Unleashed had and was an overall more enjoyable experience. But I agree, it was pretty forgettable. That's actually another game I'd like to go back to and collect all the red star rings for, like I did Generations and Lost World.

I don' t know why people are so upset over this, it's awesome. I'm no furry and sure this is a furries wet dream but who cares, it's also fun. I would want to make some awesome ORIGINAL CHARACTERS DO NOT STEAL like Sonicchu and maybe some SatAM favorites if possible.

I'm not upset, but I do find it hilarious. It's a cool concept, but I think the Sonic fanbase has kind of tainted it for everyone. Though, personally, I think they should have made a standalone game starring a custom character.

Oh, man, this game was made for Ken Penders. Let's just hope he doesn't start creating echidna variants and claiming them to be his own legal property and suing Sega again.

Yeah that whole thing with him was just a mess. A funny one to watch play out, but it still sucked we lost all those characters. And I can't help but feel the cancellation of the Archie comics has a lot to do with him and his lawsuits.
Anyways, did he ever do anything with those characters? As far as I know The Lara Su Chronicles never advanced more than some bad art. :lol:

While the art isn't great I'd use "horrifying" as a better descriptor personally

Yeah, I just wrote about it on my blog on the most wanted characters I think most of us would like to have. Sonia, Manic, and I think even some of the SatAM cast should be able to be re-created. Sonichu will definitely have a few versions available made by fans, I hope the create a character mode is quite extensive.


Not only that but I'd also like to see people do Ken Penders' original characters :lol: they should be rather easy to do as well as the Archie ones. And yes I think I will even end up making sdp the hedgehog :lol:

Sonic Underground was good. Too bad it never finished. I assume the comics gave it a proper conclusion but I lost track of those a very long time ago. Should be nice to go back now that the comics are supposedly being canceled.

I really hope the creator has enough options. Seems like it will.

SatAM was better than Underground IMO. (I will admit that SU did have its moments though.)

I've played Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic Unleashed. Both are okay games. WereSonic was fun to play as. I remembered that I sucked shooting at things as Shadow, so I usually hone jump-attacked enemies most of the time.

I have yet to play Sonic Generations.

I agree SatAm was better. I think Underground was good "reimagining" I guess you'd call it. They seemed pretty similar except for Dingo being comic relief.
