https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...b0d52b8dc21d5a “We’d be on the tour together. I’d come back to the hotel, and the last thing I want to talk about or think about is a movie,” Lawrence said. “He comes back from the tour, and that’s all he wants to talk about and I get it. It’s his baby. He wrote it. He conceived it. He directed it. I was doing double duty trying to be a supportive partner while also being like, ‘Can I please, for the love of God, not think about ‘Mother!’ for one second?’” |
Why in God's name should anyone here give a remote damn about this?
|
Not one damn was given this day.

"Requiem for a Dream" absolutely amazing. A must-see. I'm not kidding. You need to see it, it will stay with you forever. The best "why do people get into drugs and dig themselves in" movie ever.
"Black Swan," for the same reasons, though technically a better movie than Requiem. Riveting. I couldn't pull myself away from it. "The Wrestler," absolutely, a great movie, the most conventional one Aronofsky has ever done. Also a must see. If you liked Aunt May in Spider-Man you'll love this. "The Fountain," my dad really loved it. It was the second to last movie he wanted to see before he died. It's actually kind of beautiful. When you really understand it the symmetry is great, though after you've seen it enough times I find myself picking it apart a bit. Definitely worth watching, in any case. Never seen Pi. Noah was OH-kay, not great and I wouldn't necessarily recommend. |
