Why don't pop and rock musicians trash hotel rooms today?
 

The title says itself. Once upon a time, pop and rock musicians would trash hotel rooms and smash their electric guitars. But now, we seldom read about it. Why?

Because they know now that it's rude.

What do they have to gain from trashing hotel rooms today?

Simpler times back then. A lot of pop and rock stars just aren't interested in doing that sort of thing anymore when we know everything about them nowadays.

Very few. Even in Country music, coke is pretty huge.
