What types of footwear do you like to wear?

I mostly like to don ankle boots and ballet flats. On special/specific occasions, I wear tennis/laced shoes.

BubblyShell22 09-18-2017 04:54 PM

Tennis shoes is the way I roll. The ones I have now are Velcro.

IndigoErth 09-18-2017 04:59 PM

Sneakers and during the warm months I live in the leather Earth Shoe sandals Walmart sells. On my third pair.

edit: Honestly, I didn't realize until recently that most of the country calls them "tennis shoes." I hear that term and I think shoes more along the line of Keds, not Nike. :P "Sneakers" is apparently a very northeast (and south FL) thing.

I got pes cavus so my feet are damn picky on what to wear, nowadays I'm wearing some sandals that actually really ease walking pains and I can walk for hours. I use them mostly for work but as long as the weather is ok I use them regularly.

We call sneakers "tennis" where I live, too. maybe it's an imported anglicism, though.

And yes, they're my preferred footwear as well. Boots can be cool and are pretty much mandatory on a rainy day, but boy are they heavy.

At home I either wear slippers or just walk around barefoot. Depends on the current temperature.

Just Nike sneakers.

CyberCubed 09-18-2017 05:29 PM

I don't wear anything. I walk out in the world with my bare feet like a caveman.

Cure 09-18-2017 06:12 PM

Adidas, the brand with three stripes.

MsMarvelDuckie 09-18-2017 07:17 PM

At work I wear black "walking" sneakers usually with antislip soles. When out on my days off a simple pair of comfortable tennis shoes. At home I usually either wear slippers or go barefoot. I also have some dress shoes for special occasions.

Utrommaniac 09-18-2017 08:16 PM

I'm more of a slip-on/Mary Jane person. I hate tennis shoes and like my shoes flat and lightweight, usually with a strap.

I actually just got a new pair, but they're painfully tight...

MsMarvelDuckie 09-18-2017 08:24 PM

I try to wear the lightest pair of sneakers I can find because I will often be wearing them for 9-10 hours at a time at work. A good thick cushion and sturdy sole is essential too.

TurtleWA 09-18-2017 08:42 PM

Depends on the occasion and activity. But usually the most comfortable and lazy option I have available.

TigerClaw 09-18-2017 09:59 PM

I wear the Skechers Vigor 2.0 Trait, I have two pairs, one in Black and the other in Navy/Gray, both are the Wide Fit ones, they are very comfortable and great for walking, since I have issues with the heels on my feet hurting after standing for a long time.

For going out I wear these Polo high tops I got for like $20 ('cause honestly, who needs to spend more than that on a pair of shoes???)
And when I'm at home I wear these slipper/sandal things.

ProactiveMan 09-19-2017 03:02 AM

Casual leather shoes.

Papenbrook 10-07-2017 02:59 PM

I wish I could wear this shoe...

ProphetofGanja 10-07-2017 03:05 PM

I will wear anything but flip-flops

Prior to my having messed up the Achilles on both feet, it was nothing but Converse One Stars and Doc Marten's.

These days it's nothing but running shoes.

Let that be a lesson to you kids, don't jog in old sneakers.

shuriken 10-10-2017 04:35 PM

Boots for construction work, hiking and just everyday stuff.
Adidas for basketball and tennis, Asics or adidas or Brooks for running.
Then old basketball or running shoes for being out and about when its hot.

Roseangelo 10-10-2017 06:51 PM

Converse Chuck Taylor high tops.
