Future of Stockman

Did you all see the last episode of TMNT season 4? Stockman's human. What happens to him now?

Maybe he'll go back in that Mech suit.

I'd personally rather not see him again.

And not to be rude... but why the hell would Stockman, of all characters, be involved with anything "supernatural"?

Utrommaniac 02-28-2017 08:27 PM

I'm going to go for cyborg. He's already being setup as a future threat.

Since he lamented his de-mutation, I think he might try to compensate for it.

NinjaPug 02-28-2017 08:33 PM

His character arc seems done to me plus he doesn't fit with the Tales of the TMNT vibe.

ssjup81 02-28-2017 09:20 PM

Here’ s hoping that he doesn’t show up again, although,
Spoiler:
Fishface did survive and I would assume that he’ll be able to survive outside of the water. Someone would had to have repaired his robo legs and the breathing tube.
Anyway, I think that it’ll be a bit redundant to have him go back to his season 1 self and go after the turtles for returning him to his human form.

WebLurker 02-28-2017 10:40 PM

Fishface lived? Rats, why show such obvious death scenes and then revert them?

Personally, I'd kind of like to see him stay human; I think he was a more interesting character before being mutated. However, given that he wasn't happy with being cured, maybe he'll try to re-mutate himself? He did seem to have worked out how to create a controlled mutation.

DestronMirage22 02-28-2017 10:40 PM

He'll probably just be forgotten about and probably won't make any more appearances in the show.

victory_angel 02-28-2017 11:40 PM

There is still a humans vs. Mutants aspect of the show. Perhaps Stockman decides to make himself look important by telling lies and half truths to the media about the turtles and mutants in general.

neatoman 03-01-2017 09:33 AM

Hopefully he'll realise he really didn't get stronger, faster or smarter and won't try to remutate himself. He just got gross and derranged, I'm pretty sure the only advantage he got by becoming a fly was the ability to fly.

*clears throat* Mutant Gangland, enough said. I highly doubt that until we get info on season 5, they are not doing this story again, especially because the episode bears slight similarities to Clash of the Mutanimals.

Unless something is done at this point, Baxter isn't coming back. After seeing him say he liked being a mutant in Owari, I really hope he does one thing that stand outs as character defining before this show ends. At this point, I'm personally disappointed in Baxter, being he's my favorite TMNT character throughout the franchise.

More like The Noxious Avenger than Clash of the Mutanimals no? The Noxious Avenger was the one with the media and that.

They really missed an opportunity to make him an Arcade or Mad Mod like villain in the series.

I meant in terms of episode layout. Look back at it and you'll see the following similarities:
  • Cold opening scene with the Mutanimals fighting someone for unknown reasoning
  • After intro, cuts to Turtles. Additionally, some scene with Raphael's anger
  • Cue hijinks
They're a bit identical much. However, in terms of human prejudice, then Muckman's episode is the closest. Granted, I may be overthinking but the similarities stood out to me.

Don Vizioso will be back, so maybe the Human vs Mutant thing isn't finished.

Yeah the third episode is called heart of darkness and it involves Donnie putting a mission at risk because of a grudge towards Vizioso.

Ninjinister 03-02-2017 12:06 PM

I do wonder what their endgame was with demutating Stockman. Like... There has to be something they have planned for him.

(inb4 "you're giving them too much credit")

Maybe he tries to remutate himself and becomes a monstrosity much worse than he was, along the lines of April Derp/Mega Shredder/Scumbug.

ninja-zero 03-02-2017 04:26 PM

Maybe I should've put in the poll "Stockman bye-bye".

I guess I don't see where this Stockman will go.

Vicky82 03-02-2017 04:29 PM

As we got a new show coming next year and Baxter returned to human in Owari, I guess it was Baxter's last appearance and he won't be in season 5.

Powder 03-02-2017 08:46 PM

That's my guess too.
