Shocked. Shocked, I say. Nobody saw this coming.
|
I still don't understand why my brother thinks these CW teen dramas are "so good!"

You can ask him instead of posting about it here.

I'm thrilled Barry is Savitar, but they gave us too many hints. Kind of gave it away from the very beginning. But it's still awesome.
|
I'm fine with who it is, but I'm very curious to see how they will work this out.
The scene with Frost knowing what Barry would say, did it play out the exact same way in Savitar's time? If so, who was all there? Was team Flash just after Caitlin or was Savitar there too? Ehh.. that might convolute things more then they appear to be. |

Only issue is if Barry IS Savitar, then what triggered that because it could NOT have been Savitar killing Iris, because Barry wouldn't kill her... so is Savitar really Barry or is this a trick... a magic trick by way of another of Barry's foes? |

Basically is it all a timeloop? Or is it a future alternate reality. |

I'm sure some of it will be further explained... unlike the timeship's repair after the two sets of Legends went to get the blood of Christ... lol. |
Anyone wonder if Savitar is really free? Even though he's out of his speed force prison, he follows the schedule to kill Iris, why doesn't he just do it? He even had to send Killer Frost to terminate Brand, why didn't he do it? He could literally appear and strike anyone he desires, but others have to do his bidding for him.

so I read an Arrow Synopsis and Arrow is bringing back the CW Version of Captain Boomerang. But why Boomerang is a Flash Villain id rather see him on Flash.
http://comicbook.com/dc/2017/04/12/a...ain-boomerang/ I also thought they couldn't use anyone that is in the Suicide Squad cause of the movie. |
I stopped watching after 3x19. I'm keeping up with the story beats via the Reddit thread and I'll marathon the rest of the season when it's up on Netflix in a few weeks.
|
Nice episode, really funny too. I liked when Caitlin was working with the team. What I find repetitive is how some random accident always triggers some solution to a problem or something.
KING SHARK COMES!😀 |
I really enjoyed the lightheartedness of this episode. And the references and shout outs to the Dragon Ball Z, Legends and Bart Allen were great as well.
Can't wait for King Shark and Captain Cold, looks like fun. |
I am glad the show is revisiting the time remnants. Having speedsters (good or evil) create them at will only to use them as sacrificial pawns was awesome to watch, but ethically troubling to think about. The reveal about Time Remnant Future Barry being rejected by all the friends of the real Barry really cut deep and it makes one believe why a version of Barry could become truly nihilistic if he had all the memories and emotions of Barry Allen but not his true identity or love.
It's a real parallel to what's going on in the IDW TMNT comics with the current version of Metalhead and the "real" Donatello. |
So when Barry traveled back in time and created flashpoint, he was having the life he wanted, while time remnant Barry was rejected by the team in the normal timeline? I'm just confused.
|
So I watched the clip of Savitar explaining how everybody hated Time Remnant Barry and was all "LOL Fake Barry"...
And while the scene is very well done, and the dialogue is spot on, I DON'T buy the central concept. Completely unbelievable. NOBODY was nice to Other Barry? Not even Joe? Not even HR? BS. Total BS. |

One other thing to remember is that this is only the point-of-view of Savitar (who is crazy), and it is potentially a warped perception of whatever reality was. In fact, just look at what happened to Metalhead Donatello in TMNT Universe despite real Donatello's best efforts. |
