Oh no! I just found out about this from this thread.... How sad. I've actually been listening to Look Sharp, Tourism and Joyride a lot in the last few months and had developed a new appreciation for Watercolours In The Rain.

A couple months back I realized I hadn't checked up on the band in a long time and stumbled upon a video where she was sick but still coming out on stage e even if just to sit there and sing the best that she could. I was truly impacted by that - it was so legit on every level, it was honestly amazing.

This really is sad news.

Geez, this is turning out to be a rough month for entertainment deaths. Roxette was always a great band, and I really loved Joyride and It Must Have Been Love. Blessed journey to the next life, and RIP.

I'm going to post this link here for you guys that have both the interest and the emotional maturity to understand the situation. I caught this video a few months back. I just randomly decided to dig into what Roxette was up to because I hadn't heard anything about them in years.

I think the gravity of this is heavy, and I honestly have a lot of respect for that woman marching out on stage and just doing her thing, even if she had to sit to perform for people, given her condition.

Even if you don't want to watch the whole thing, dive into about 27 minutes in, or even at the 8 minute mark. She was in no condition to be performing, but she came out, sat by the drum kit and sang what she could while the band supported her.

Absolutely admirable person there.
