Cool, but even if this holds any value (which, currently, it doesn't. It's a prediction), it's way too early to get excited seeing as how this isn't even a rumor, much less a statement from Sony. I don't follow PlayStation so I don't know this for sure, but when they launched the PS4 Pro, wasn't there talk about them just staying in that position for a while? |
It makes sense. Every generation of consoles lasts around 6 years.
I think they purposely release the basic models first just to release the "improved" versions (slims/Pro/One X etc.) later. It's very obvious they hold back making 1 true model to begin with. Started with the PS2 and PSOne but I don't think that was done on purpose. It was more of a novelty since they had no real upgrades. |
