People talking about their favorite TMNT incarnation on other sites

Just came across this thread on ResetEra, gaming forum spinoff of Neogaf after it self-imploded:

https://www.resetera.com/threads/wha...the-tmnt.3493/

It's always interesting to see what people think of TMNT outside of hardcore forums like this one.

Surprisingly a lot of the responses are varied there. Many people mentioned the IDW comics, the 2k3 cartoon, Mirage, Archie, Nick, etc. It's not all just "my childhood original cartoon and 90's movies" although there are a few responses like that.

I guess TMNT isn't as obscure as we think it is?

There will be variation given how many different versions there have been over the years, it's not just about age either, some of us came in later rather than as children.

Everyone seems to have different favorites. Mine are IDW, Archie, and the OT. My buddy's favorites are the 1990 film, and the 4kids series. I doubt anyone has the same two combination of favorites.

The site you linked to is for people who like visual pop culture so I wouldn't expect them not to know TMNT.

TMNT is far from obscure, especially with the turtlemania generation now grown up and with purchasing power everywhere.

Yeah as I said I don't expect them not to be aware of TMNT, it's their generation and this generation has a strong sense of pop culture.
