Good question. Probably introduces the characters better.

I also noticed that the UK actually had episode clips. Were they shown as intro even during season 1?

I caught a few episodes in Japanese. Apparently there are two Japanese dubs. I think the ones I stumbled across were from the second attempt. The voices were pretty good and I found it interesting that the dub had the turtles all using “chan” with one another and shortening their names (Leo-Chan, Don-Chan, Raph-Chan and Michel-Chan) though that may have had to do with matching lip flaps. They also use brother more often than the original though they still don’t specify an older or younger.

Not sure of your question? BBC never showed Season 1. Sky One showed Season 1 and most of those clips I believe were shown either as part of Season 1 or Season 2. A couple of those clips come from The Incredible Shrinking Turtles.

I'm sure Sky 1 also aired season 2.

The Hero turtles intro is not my favourite but I will give it credit for showing Krang which the American intro didn't do until season 8.

They showed the entire show. I said the BBC never showed Season 1. Those clips are from specific episodes, one I have been able to identify. I always liked the Hero Turtles logo better. The morphing Turtles logo of the US version looks ugly in comparison and I dislike the colours used.

I like the British ending better, when the turtles are just about to jump into the water and then the theme song ends.

Yeah as I said the end of that theme clips hands down looks better at the end than the US one along with the logo.

Wouldn't it be easier to just dub the series into Spanish once.

Europeans prefer to have their own dubs, it happens the same with Canadian French and French French. LatinAmerica usually shares the same dub which is usually the Mexican one since it can have the most "neutral" accent. As far as Spanish the latinamerican dubs are usually better than the Spanish ones.
