As far as the colors on the turtles go, are you gonna go with the neon green look? I prefer that shade on Michelangelo that you have on your avatar picture. |

Getting this first scene to look right in one shot is going to be tough.. |
<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/23635469?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&a utoplay=1" width="398" height="224" frameborder="0"></iframe>
http://www.vimeo.com/23635469 I'm going to fast track this intro recreation..so no more updates for another two weeks, but will post when done...Then it's back to more model recreation... |

No more real time updates, but 5 days later, I made it this far.. |

Wow amazing keep it up. :):)
|
|
haha that's cool!! I <3 Rocksteady. good timing!!
|
Minus the baby turtle scene, which will get a bit of rework, this is a final for the first 12 seconds of intro rework
|
Your models have come along pretty well and you have been at this project for a while. I know its rough animation hopefully you will be able to improve a bit. I haven't done a much animation but I know to get it really good could take some time.
Its looking pretty good anyway I am impressed with your work ethic and dedication to this project =) |

Toughest and longest 3 second scene in the intro to do. Green Zombie april returns! |
New URL, since youtube won't let you replace stuff. This is the toughest scene to recreate...So many moving parts. The first layout of green zombie april scene!

Persevere, Neil, persevere!

The Group shot and one before it needs work...but the rest looks OK considering. It'll all be fixed once the entire thing is blocked out. Onto the next set.. |

Much as I hate to do it, going to re-animate those turtles one last time in the last few scenes...a few minor changes to the turtle model itself |
http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._2841893_n.jpg
It's only in one shot for two seconds, but the next model to improve |

Trying a different technique to get clouds to look right... Digitally tracing doesn't work alone |

Took a bit of a break...re-animated the last few scenes..came off decent enough that I think I'll go back and fix the last three.. |

GREAT work man, but I have a few suggestions for each model (Sorry if im late)
1. April almost looks perfect, but her hair bothers me. The "indent" between the sides of her hairdo and the top "dome" of her hairdo are off imo, im not quite sure how to describe it but it feels funny to me 2. the turtles (noteably don, but i assume your using the same base on all of them) are a bit too pudgy and should be slimmed just a TAD. 3. bebop Looks -awesome-, i didnt like the head at first but by the final pic it looked great, but his feet still look too flat/pointed at the tips. he wears sneakers and if i remember correctly it has a very bulbus and round tip, not so narrowly pointed 4. rocksteady looks great, no complaints from me 5. krang looks dead on, no complaints from me keep it up man, this stuff is awesome *edit* 6. mikeys chux are off in most of what ive seen (according to "real" concepts) the rope/chain (chain in this case) on nunchaku is supposed to be custom fit for the owner/user. The rope/chain is supposed to be as long as the users hand is wide, so that if hanging it over the knuckles, there is just enough chain/rope to allow the batons to hang over the back of the hand, no extra slack, allows for proper spins. I know the cartoon isnt accurate to this all the time, but its a pet peeve of mine so I wanted to mention it |
I wonder if there is a way to get this noticed by the guy who did the original intro, Peter Chang, or Chung depending on where you go for info...
so far no luck finding contact info |
