MOTUC Ultimates was not a separate line, it was re-releases of 5 Classics figures with extra accessories and different paint job (Ram Man only got repainted), like He-Man came packed with extra Vintage style head and Alcala styled head, Alcala sword and a different paint job.

Huh, my experience is the opposite. I've always seen the 1990 Turtles as shorter, you can tell in the movie and the VHS cover I had, had a image of Raph and April side-by-side full body showing she was taller

She's in heels. And she has giant 80's hair. If you remove both of these and tell Raph to stand up straight, it seems pretty clear the top of her head would be level with, if not below, Raph's. Plus then look at Leo, who is standing up much straighter and is taller than Raph. And then also consider that much of the time the turtles are alone in the film frame or crouched over fighting their similarly crouched enemies, not next to anyone else all standing up straight next to each other with a yardstick next to them. They look big, bulky, and at least as big as the humans, all told.

Just look at this frame, they look like behemoths while tiny April sits there.

Well, you're wrong on both counts.

You can go look up for yourself the other photos from the same shoot where she stands in other poses and is clearly in heels just by the shape of her feet, if the lifted posture of her butt in this one isn't enough to convince you, which it should be, if you know why heels are a thing.

And Raph is leaning backward. That means his body is in an arc. Which means it ain't straight.

And yet neither of these facts matters in and of itself when there are numerous other reasons why this movie does not give the impression of tiny turtles.

She is 5'7" michelan sisti(Michaelangelo) is 5'2" add an inch and a half for the top of the turtle head and the thickness of the bottom of the feet and you get about 5'4" for Mikey generally speaking.

MORE WEAPONS IN SUPER7'S TMNT ULTIMATES! FIGURES?

Starting at the ~1:10 mark in episode 149 of the "My Wife is Going to Kill Me" podcast, we hear an interview with Eric "Cornboy" Mayse from Fourhorsemen Toydesign that was recorded at Power-Con! In it, he mentions that there's a possibility that Super7 may pack in some additional weapons with their new TMNT Ultimates! deluxe figure sets!

"We just talked to [Super7's owner Brian Flynn] today. There's a possibility that all of their iconic major weapons like Michelangelo's nun-chucks, Raphael's sai, things like that, we might do a second set that's off the trees as well. Because people were concerned if the weapons get painted, how snapping them off the tree [rack] might leave a little divot or crack the paint, or something like that. And they're absolutely right, that is a possibility. So obviously we're going to test that and see if it's a thing we need to look into but there's a possibility we may include those extra, just the most iconic of their weapons, separately as well, so you don't have to worry about snapping those off of the [weapons rack] and worrying about leaving a mark on the paint."

Did any of The Four Horsemen explain why the figures come with an alternate set of weapons from the ones that originally came with the ‘88 and ‘89 action figures? It’s not like Raphael comes with an alternate FW toon head,arms,legs, and belt, so why the pizza and Turtle com? The second set of weapons throws me off.

Will The Four Horsemen make exclusives of the turtles with the Giant Turtles head sculpts?

Well if they want to include extras as long as they don't raise the price to compensate, fine :lol:

They should just do away with the racks. We all appreciate the nostalgic nature of it, but it makes no sense for a higher-end figure. It impacts the quality. And quality should be #1.
