Live Action Beauty and the Beast film

Disney's going thru with a LA Beauty and the Beast film. Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has been cast as Belle. Should be interesting to see who's cast as Gaston, Beast, ect.

Nope, no thanks. Not for me. Also I find Emma Watson over rated.

No, thanks.

I'm personally looking forward to this! Beauty and the Beast is my second favorite Disney film (the first being The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and I can't wait to see how they'll adapt it into live action. All of the live action films so far have been adaptions of the classics (Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent, with Cinderella coming in march and the Alice sequel coming next year) so this'll be the first one based on a film from the Disney Renaissance. I especially can't wait to see how the Beast and the enchanted objects will look, and how the music numbers will be handled!

With this and Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book likely to become major blockbusters, it probably won't be long after til a live-action The Lion King is announced. I wonder what director would have the balls to take that on...

Emma Watson = probably going to see it

Yeah, she's pretty hot, so I'm down.

a live action Lion King? They would have to be Anthropomorphized Lions, but that would be all CGI anyways.

No Kristin Kreuk? Pssh.

Pass.

I love both Beauty and the Beast and Emma Watson. So I'm going to see this.

Luke Evans has been cast as Gaston.

Plus, Dan Stevens is going to play the Beast.

There was also a report that Emma Thompson is in talks to play Mrs. Potts.

Or a live action of The Lion King.

BubblyShell22 03-05-2015 03:46 PM

This could be interesting, and I'm a fan of Emma Watson, so I might see this.

I wonder if the Beast will be fully CGI with motion capture, Which I can see happening with this live action adaption.

As long as the Beast looks like a feline.

Something like this.

Who cares if they use CGI motion capture? The design itself is garbage, I don't want to see that.

They should just go with a CGI design that looks similar to how Beast looked in the Disney movie. Problem solved, everyone wins.

Even the Disney Beast still looks like a Lion, With Fangs and Horns.
