That's interesting about Archie's, thanks. I'm probably going to ask the guy at the comic shop and he might be able to explain it better for me. I really appreciate all the help getting here, and I know it's just me having a hard time understanding it.
I had to really do research on Godzilla comics too to get the breakdown of what I needed. |
Anyone knows why the TMNT logo on TMNT vol.4 #29 cover went back to the old version while it had been switched to a new one on the #28 cover? Later issues (#30-31-32) use the new one as well.

Thanks!
I'm trying to find if it is from a post on Peter Laird's blog with no luck so far :tgrin:. |
If I recall correctly, it was an answer in the comments section of an "Ask PL" blog, if not a blog about the issue itself (but I'm fairly sure it was the former).

Thanks Powder.
Not a question, just news, the French TMNT Facebook page just reached 1000 members :tparty:! |

Pizza Power artist?
Does anyone know who did the artwork for the Pizza Power Game? My LCS just got two copies (one sealed!?) from a big collection and the owner and I were trying to figure it out. It's a very cool amalgam of Mirage meets Fred Wolf. Is it crazy to think that Eastman or Laird may have been behind it?
http://i67.tinypic.com/19m6v5.png (Oh and I bought the used copy he had of course, pretty psyched as I had to give it up during a move as a kiddo way back when...) :tgrin: |
Anyone knows the complete list of TMNT work Richard Corben did?
I have in mind: - TMNT vol.1 #2 3rd print cover - TMNT vol.1 #7 insert ("You had to be there") - TMNT vol.1 #33 Anything else? |
A bump for my previous question + another one:
Are there scans of Gobbledygook vol.1 #1-2 available somewhere? I'd be really curious to look at the inside of this books (at least numerically, as I'll never be able to do so physically!). |
Usagi Yojimbo Sketchbook 14
A fellow Miyamoto Usagi fan (with zero camera) has informed me that the Mr Sakai art, seen on screen in the moments of flashback during the ‘Yojimbo’ episode of ‘The Samurai’ Tale of the TMNT, has been published in this Sketchbook # 14.
I have not seen any photos/scans of the Sketchbook interior, and wondered if a ‘dromer may please assist? Bonus Pizza Points should you have this Sketchbook, and have a moment to share a direct look at the interior (specifically, the pages that display this art). MEGA thanks in advance. |

I found a Volume 4 Issue 29 with Laird sketch. Should I get it graded?
I found the above issue and I am not sure whether to grade or not. It is in great shape and has a head sketch in the back. I feel bad getting it graded because the sketch will kind of go to waste. Any suggestions?

I would handle it with extra care and give it a good protection (several boards, stiff plastic bag). In the future you'll be happy to have a look at the sketch. |
