Still no Rise forum?
 

So if I remember correctly, the excuse for not making a Rise forum was the lack of info on the show. Well, what about now?

We know who the voice cast are, we know the format, we know who the creative team are, we know the character design, we know a few villains and that tie-in comic will come out soon. Why not now? The first Nickelodeon show ended months ago and it's forum is basically only kept active by Rise discussion.

As for a new forum, maybe it's right that things will keep getting more chaotic the more shows we keep getting and yeah discussion will be mostly dead in the 2012 forum but I still don't like having the two shows mixed up in topics. Why not create a subforum for Rise or 2012 in the Nick forum and move all the threads of Rise and/or 2012 to that subforum?

Maybe all the 2k3 section threads can be moved there as well as a subforum.

The 4 Kids series is separate thing, so there's no need to add anything pre-October 2009 Nickelodeon TMNT purchase there.

I think Rise will all be discussed in the Nick tmnt section without needing a separation, and the future tmnt film will be discussed in the Platinum Dunes subsection as usual.

I side with the vote that it doesn't really need it as it's a Nick show and will be the dominate topic now anyhow.

The PD films only got a separate subsection back before 2014 came out because it was so controversial and inspired so many threads and intense debates that it was best to give it it's own space and return the peace to the main film section. 'Rise' might have some controversy and debate itself, but not nearly to the same degree, nor is it competing with 2012 as its discussion has died off a lot.

It will be easier to find threads based on the 2012-2017 Nickelodeon series if Rise of the TMNT gets its own subforum.

Probably because he may only have to show up once a year or so to keep the placed renewed. Otherwise there's no reason to come here. I also imagine the owners lost interest in TMNT in general, so this place is kept up more on goodwill than anything else.

I'm a little surprised that Rise doesn't takeover the 4Kids forum and have the 4Kids threads merged with the General Discussion forum. The 4Kids forum is dead, often times going several weeks in between posts. Which is unfortunate, as it's my favorite TMNT series.

Or merge Fred Wolf and 4 Kids as they are both parts of the pre-October 2009 Nickelodeon purchase of TMNT.

I dont know if we need a subforum where have the posts will be nothing but complaining about the show.

Well right now we're in the initial airings of the show where people who don't like it are posting why, I'm sure as the show continues those people will just stop posting in that section since they won't be watching. So the 'dislike" will die down over time like it does with anything.

Merge all the Turtle forums as most of them are dead anyways.

If we have to merge forums then it's time Technodrome forums shut down entirely. If the forums are dead, the community is dead.

As it stands we could use one cartoon section, one movie section, and one comic section. Discussion on all the cartoons can probably be in the same place at this point.

I added a Rise forum and moved the relevant threads there.
