OT voice cast reunion on Talkin' Toons

Not sure if everyone's aware, but this year is the 25th anniversary of the Fred Wolf TMNT cartoon.

In honor of that, Rob Paulsen is getting Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, Barry Gordon and himself all in the same room for a special Talkin' Toons podcast. It will be a live podcast on August 24th. Save the date!

Awesome! I look forward to that.

Jester 06-25-2012 07:21 AM

That's gonna be pretty freakin' sweet.

CyberCubed 06-25-2012 09:41 AM

I hope its recorded.

MikeandRaph87 06-25-2012 09:48 AM

I guess at this time there is no time given for when it will stream yet? This is sure to be awesome! Catnnot miss this.

HotJuicyBurgers 06-25-2012 10:08 AM

This is actually pretty cool.

How long is this podcast going to be?

Raph 06-25-2012 11:17 AM

Oh could easily be over an hour!

Mutant_Hero_Turtle95 06-25-2012 12:18 PM

Awesome cant wait!

cartoonistaaron 06-25-2012 12:47 PM

Yeah def, they're the voices I think of when I read the comics and can't wait to hear them all together. It's gonna be awesome. :tgrin:

...Suddenly, I have the need for new pants.

I cannot WAIT to download and listen to this! The only way it could be better would be if he got James Avery and Pat Fraley too, but that'd be too many people in one podcast probably. This is gonna be awesome!

TurtleTitan97 06-25-2012 02:34 PM

Awesome! Looking forward to it! :)

Though SprankyMarky644, I generally think of the 4kids voices for most of the Mirage comics (with the Turtles Forever voices for issue #1), with the I can't imagine hearing Rob's Raph reading Mirage over Frank's and Nolan's, for instance. Archie is a completely different story, as you obviously can't unhear the OT's voices since the first seven issues (including the mini-series) are basically the comic book form of the first seven Fred Wolf episodes.

I've been an avid listener of these podcasts, and I've heard Rob mention that he'd be interested in Pat and Peter Renaday in an episode not that long ago.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this as it comes on the heels of the Season 10 DVD release, so think of this as an epilogue to the OT, and is another reason to watch an OT marathon over the next 6-8 weeks or so!

I hear the original cartoon voice actors in anything turtles. It does not have to be Archie! :twink: Its what I hear the most and like the most so its hard to have the voices change. Now, if the characters did not appear in the cartoon of course its different.

My 2003 cartoon marathon will last just over 8 weeks. It truly allows one to see the positives and negatives of the show.

I hope for a time on the date given. I hate to log on the computer only for it to have already streamed that day.

Sweet, that'd be awesome too. The only one I have to admit wouldn't get me buzzed in anticipation for would be Renae Jacobs. Not that I don't like her April, it just wouldn't be enough to get me excited.

I'm a 'new' listener to the podcast I suppose, since I've only listened to one so far - the Bill Farmer podcast. I'm probably nabbing the John DiMaggio one once it's up though.

Oh man, that's exciting. I can't wait!

At least she seems to look better with age, better than the way Judith Hoag and especially Paige Turco have aged:

These were nice unexpected finds; the first one came from an upload that I posted in a thread not too long ago; the second came from a PDF from Hebrew University that I found yesterday.

Now, good luck with Jennifer Darling since we haven't even gotten a single word of her work on TMNT!

And I thought I was obsessed with Rob Paulsen....yikes.

Ohh, that'd be a great thing to hear! I loved Reneday's voice... Hearing them all together would be fantastic. :)
