Yup, the writer of the episode, the Season Ten story editor Amit Bhumic, previously put together a fan hoax about a "lost" episode of Zeo years ago with a few freinds which explained why the Zeo Zords were destroyed, and how Serpenterra crashed on the moon, it fooled quite a lot of people, and when he became story editor, Amit confirmed "Forever Red" was indeed the sequel to the hoax, therfore making it actual continunity.
