All I'm saying is a Pokemon movie based on the pokemon world that at least resembles what people think of it. This looks like it's going to be set in the real world with a kid and a random talking Pikachu solving crimes. It's like nothing to do with the franchise.

Yeah, but to be fair that's how it seems the Detective Pikachu game is too though. Like this one pokemon can speak, or is at least able to be understood by little Tommy Goodman, and they solve mysteries involving other pokemon. It's weird, but so is the whole pokemon thing.
