I hope the turtles are shown as having already lived for a while, I don't want their first adventure to be this mystic quest. No origin story a la TNM.

Wow, can't say I love 'em but can't say I hate 'em either

I have a few problems with the designs and the setting and the overall direction they want to take it but that's OK, I want something different and I'm getting it, I'd rather not love it and be different than another "traditional" adaptation right after the 2012 show.
Random thoughts:

*April's hair is reddish, black April redeemed her glasses remind me of what a modern Irma would look like
*Cubed doomed us with fat Ralph!
*Remember the controversy of the 2012 show when Mikey wasn't using nunchucks? I'm fine with the weapons change here since it's sort of a spin-off and reminds me of the cool different weapons they had in TNM
*Splinter looks horrible
*April's Bat hints that she will have Green Lantern like powers, ugh.
*Leo looks so much younger and inexperienced, I'm guessing that'll be his personality here since he isn't the leader.
