Episode 35: Turtles, Turtles Everywhere

Mistakes:
1. As Bebop and Rocksteady help Shredder get the turtle off of his foot, the floor goes from having no turtles to having many turtles all in the same shot.
2. The metal which grabbed three of the Ninja Turtles were shown as gray metal but are seen with their normal white gloved hands when Dump-1000 releases them.
3. Raphael says "Bonzai" as Donatello is shown leaping onto the sewer pipe, but Raphael is not present. (This is due to an error in post-production using a stock voice).
4. When April is at the beach, palm trees are visible, but in the real New York metropolitan area, palm trees do not grow.

Catchphrase Countdown:
1. Leonardo says that "we use Turtle Power to clean and scour" as the Turtles clean up the lair.
2. Raphael saying "Bonzai" (see mistake No. 3)
3. Donatello saying "Heroes in a Half Shell" (see fourth wall breaking humor No. 2)
4. Shortly afterwards, Leonardo says "Turtle Power".
5. As Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo slide down the chute into the control room, Michelangelo says "Cowabunga!"

Pizza References:
1. Raphael mentions "wait what you see what he puts on his pizzas" when referring to Michelangelo's habit of watching garbage shows. Michelangelo then steps on a puddle of cheese pizza, slides across the room, and crashes into the wall.
2. April would buy Michelangelo a pizza when the Galapagos Turtle when he started to cry as it went out to sea. Michelangelo then says that the recycling center would have some great leftover toppings.

Pop Culture References:
1. Shredder thought that when he reached Bebop on the comlink near the beginning of the episode that he was Santa Claus.
2. As the Robotruck's arms chase the Turtles, Michelangelo mentions that he just had his shell Turtle Waxed, in reference to the auto care product.
3. The phrase "Open Sesame" as a password by Rocksteady is used in reference to Ali Baba story.
4. The Galapagos sea turtle is a real world endangered species of the green sea turtle found in the tropical and subtropical Pacific Ocean.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
1. Raphael says that the Turtles laugh at danger when Splinter warns them that they are in great danger.
2. Donatello says "We're Heroes in a Half Shell! Remember the Theme Song?" immediately afterwards.
3. As the Turtles drive to the recycling center to save April, Michelangelo says "Isn't this music excellent" as the last notes of the Battle Theme cue play.
4. Raphael says "what a great cliffhanger" right before the second commercial break.
5. As Shredder talks to Krang on his comlink in the control room of the recycling center, Donatello says "What a cornball! Who writes this guy's dialogue anyway?" A moment later, April says "and he complains about Shredder's corny dialogue?"

Wacky Inventions:
1. Dump-1000's advanced recycling facility control system, including Robo-Trucks and a high-tech processing center, including Dump-1000 itself and a main control room.
2. Krang's Turtle Control Overrider

Kidnappings:
1. Every non-mutant turtle is kidnapped by Dump-1000's system.
2. April is kidnapped by Shredder after she ends up at the Recycling Center.
3. Donatello is kidnapped by a Robo-Truck as he tries to contact the other Turtles for help from the telephone booth.

Notables:
1. The first episode in which the main entrance to the sewers nearest the Turtles' lair is shown to have its lid drop as the Turtle Van comes through.
2. The Turtle Van is shown to have a telescoping chair that contains a control panel and a laser gun. It is also shown to have a hatch on its roof for the turtles' grappling hooks.
