Hard to even guess how soon Nick will try a new series, esp with Rise kind of bombing the way it did. Slash is probably guaranteed to show up again someday though.
Though given how the Rise people really liked to try to go overboard with changing things, it might be for the best they didn't tamper with Slash, because god knows what they'd have done with him, so more than likely he dodged a bullet.
