I thought it was a great adventure flick. The beginning was kind of dull, but once they got to the island that was where things really started to pick up. I felt like I was there with the group since I was watching it in 3D. John C. Reilly's performance also really stood out.

Reilly's performance also really stood out. Spoiler: The post-credits scene really did tie in well with the future of the Monster Universe that Warner Bros. is planning. There are still plenty of more creatures to come.
