What's wrong with you guys? Do you realize this is an adaptation of Rampage? What are you expecting?
The Street Fighter Analogy is crazy Rampage has little to no story, it's a parody to get you to play as giant monsters and wreak havoc. As long as they make an entertaining movie they'll more than do the source material justice.
The tone of the trailer is a little too serious, but I'm guessing it's going to be sillier when we get other trailers. Still it looks like some Kaiju fun just from that trailer even in the worst case scenario that it doesn't go for a more comedic approach.
