There was supposed to be a continuation of Boom Studio’s Darkwing Duck comic this year, but it’s been put on hold due to the Ducktales reboot.
I'd have mixed feelings about a Darkwing Duck reboot. On one hand, I love to see a new Darkwing Duck cartoon and I’d be interested to see what new things they could do with it. On the other hand, I fear a reboot might endanger the current Darkwing Duck comic, due to it using the old continuity, and I’d hate to see such a fantastic comic scrapped because of it…
…and that’s not even getting into the nitpicky things, like will Jim Cummings return to voice DW?
He’s still got it, but so does the old Ducktales cast.
