Yup.
There was a far easier way out of that PR mess for her; just say "
Huh, my parents and grandparents always told me I was part-Cherokee (or whatever)... turns out they were wrong. Well, that's embarrassing!" and move on.
But then, I guess she has made a history of using that affiliation to her gain in policy and speeches and what-not...
