I don't share the Mikey hate that a lot have... but yeah, he does eat disgusting food.... and apparently smells bad (suggested in a couple of eps)
Saying that, in the Usagi arc they suggested that the turtles smelled like sewage....I mean we know they live there but I didn't really like that they did that, No-one else ever said they smelled bad (in this series don't know about the others).
