Source??? As far as I know any bill for the senate takes 50/51(Vice president) to pass a bill.
Are you talking about a phillabuster? which that would take 60 to end.
I am sorry I am just confused by the statement honestly, bc as I said it should only take a simple majority vote to pass any bill.
And also I thought they passed the new tax code back in December????
