To be fair, I haven't seen them in person. And in that pic you posted I think the sheer mass of the statues would be impressive.
Subjectively speaking, I just feel like they lack a bit of life. Maybe its because I had my expectations too high dreaming about statues from the first movie for so long, maybe its the glossy finish on the bandanas, maybe its something else... but they just kinda underwhelm me.
Though, I remember when the first Sideshow Leonardo statue was revealed in pics and I didn't like it at all. As soon as I took it out of the box, though - wow. Actually could be my favourite of the set.
So who knows?
