I had a feeling that he would be an utrom once people on the forum for return to newyork part 3 were speculating he might be an utrom, since that would make more sense aND I gave it a 90% chance that he would be an utrom when they showed the evil utrom and shredder in secret origins part 1, but thought that the shredder 1000 years ago was an ancestor.
There is proof that saki was not a real person. They showed a robot body of saki at the end of city at war part 3, when they showed the utrom shredder in the chamber.
