Mistakes:
1. When Michelangelo went over to the picnic basket to answer his Turtlecom, he was shortly seen with Leonardo's kantanas on his belt.
2. When the Turtle Van pulls up to the 5th Street Bank, the border surrounding the word TURTLES on the front shell is a light shade of green.

Catchphrase/Insult Countdown:

2. The Turtles say "Turtle Power" when the arrive at the bank where Pinky and his Goons are robbing.
3. At City Hall, Leonardo says "We've got to do something" after April doubts that REX-1 could restore his memory.
4. Professor Mindbender calls Leonardo a green meddler after LEX fails to release him at City Hall.

4. The Turtles are seen eating pizza on the table in the bedroom at the end of the episode.

Pop Culture References:
1. LEX says "Go directly to Jail. Do not pass Go," in reference to the board game Monopoly after the Remote Controlled Police Car carries off Pinky and his minions.
2. After the first commercial break, LEX tells Leonardo and April that "Crime does not pay", which is also the title of a Golden Age comic book series and a radio crime drama series in the 1930s-40s.
3. When REX-1 says "Stop in the name of LEX" as Leonardo and April run through the kitchen in the Lair, he is referring to the 1965 Motown song "Stop in the Name of Love" by the Supremes.
4. Afterwords, Leonardo says that he has created a Frankincop, another Frankenstein reference.
5. Professor Mindbender begins his report after Vernon's introduction with "Law and Order", referring to the long-running drama series of the 1990s and 2000s.
6. The Rexanne robot at the end of the episode may be a possible reference to Roseanne Barr, in which her self-titled sitcom was then at its peak of popularity.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
1. When LEX asks April for her last words in the crosswalk, she says that she can think of a few, but are not appropriate for television.
2. Leonardo says "Why am I suddenly talking like Michelangelo" after he says "Everything's bodacious" as he emerges from a sewer crate into City Hall.

3. The Punk Frogs are shown in this episode but do not speak. This is also the final appearance of Rasputin and Atilla Frogs.
