Rise is Cal Arts turtles. Samurai Jack, Powderpuff girls, all garbage art styles, people thumbing their nose at anatomy and perspective in favour of simplified lines and form. Garbage, crap, cal arts, Rise of the TMNT, are synonyms.
If you want to misunderstand the meaning of words, that’s your business, but don’t expect others to follow suit.
